  • Provide a flexible access learning  space with print and digital resources available 24/7 for our community of learners
  • Castleberry ISD students are readers! 41,389 were checked out during the Fall 2017 semester
  • Castleberry teacher librarians are instructional partners in the teaching and learning process
  • Create opportunities to connect science, technology, reading, arts, math (STREAM) through makerspaces, coding, and robotics
  • Provide before and after school clubs and activities including Tech Ninjas, STEM Society, Gadget Girls, Late Night @ the Library, and more!
  • Curate instructional resources to support classroom curriculum
  • Engage an extended community of learners via virtual opportunities including author Skypes and expert demonstrations
  • Offer innovative professional development opportunities at the district, local, and state level
  • Connect socially with #CISD_Reads, #castleberryisd or local library social media portals including Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter
